The US Department of State has instructed the US embassies in Warsaw (Poland), Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and Almaty (Kazakhstan) to process immigration cases of Russian citizens.
If your case is pending at the US Embassy in Warsaw, you can obtain a visa to another Schengen country to facilitate your trip to Poland. Despite the difficulties in traveling to Poland directly from Russia, the US Embassy in Warsaw remains the largest processing point of immigration cases for Russian citizens.
Please note that transferring your case to Belgrade (Serbia) may mean a much longer wait than if you were able to travel to Warsaw for an interview.
The US Embassy in Belgrade processes requests for the transfer of immigration cases of Russian citizens from the embassy in Warsaw in the order in which these requests were sent. Belgrad has a waitlist and currently is processing transfer requests from May 2023
